The San Antonio River Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental education through Confluence Park, an interactive teaching tool that promotes a greater understanding of Texas ecotypes and watershed dynamics. Confluence Park, designed with collaboration in mind, offers its venue to nonprofit and educational partners for free, fostering community impact and positive change in San Antonio.
Since opening in March 2018, Confluence Park has engaged over 32,000 student registrants and partnered with more than 75 nonprofit organizations to deliver over 350 programs across 70 schools in 11 districts, reinforcing respect and concern for the health of the San Antonio River watershed through its programming.
