Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas offers a range of programs and services for children and disadvantaged youth of ages 6 through 18. The club offers five-core program initiatives including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development and education and career development. Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas, based in San Marcos, Texas, provides prevention programs for youth that includes gang, alcohol, drug, tobacco, teen sex and pregnancy prevention. The club also provides after school programs including money matters, which is a financial literacy program that was designed specifically to help teens of ages 13 through 18 to expand their knowledge of money management and learn skills that lead to financial independence and well-being.
