Vaishali Bhalani, MD is a board certified, fellowship trained OB/GYN, specializing in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is passionate about empowering women with the tools they need to care for their own health. She believes that every woman deserves comprehensive, individualized care and will offer the most appropriate, least invasive surgical approach that is tailored to the patients? needs. Dr. Bhalani graduated from Saba University School of Medicine in 2000 and completed her OB/GYN residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2004 while serving as Administrative Chief Resident. During her medical training and over 15 years of clinical practice, she has received numerous accolades, including Best Teaching Resident, Tulane?s Alumni Society Excellence in Research Award, Best Attending in Ob/Gyn Department. After practicing in Cincinnati, OH for 9 years, she moved to Houston where she joined the faculty at UT Houston McGovern School of Medicine. She has received the Dean?s Excellence in Teaching award for two consecutive years. Dr. Bhalani has been a longstanding fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society. As she has three daughters of her own, Dr. Bhalani enjoys taking care of women in all stages of their lives, from young adults to menopause and beyond. She and her family have embraced the diversity which Houston celebrates and LOVE calling Houston their new home!
