Babe Zaharias Golf Course
Babe Zaharias Golf Course is named after Mildred Ella "Babe" Didrikson Zaharias, an athlete and golfer, and is located in Port Arthur, Texas. Opened for play in 1978, the 18-hole course features 6,867- yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 70.5, and it has a slope rating of 109 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Leon Howard, the course is spread across 150 acres, with 15 bunkers, a practice green and a large driving range with more than 20,000-square feet of teeing surface. Babe Zaharias Golf Course also features a golf shop, restrooms and a restaurant.
