I recently encouraged my young son to collect aluminum for money. Once he filled a 30 gal container with crushed cans, we took his haul to what has to be the most expensive real estate in Austin...

I only went here b/c my husband scraps sometimes. The process of bring scrap metals and other random electrics and appliances is fairly quick. I don't how they come up as to how much they will pay...
