The end of summer doesn't mean the end of the celebrations in Texas, as 'ACL Fest' arrives in Austin's Zilker Park. Over 100 bands take to eight stages to entertain nearly half a million people over two full weekends. Now that's a lot of live music! Head to Austin Eats, the festival's bountiful foodie area to sample some of the state's delicacies; BBQ wings, tacos, and ice cream. Kids are welcome, with entry for under 10's free of charge, and a dedicated 'Austin Kiddie Limits' festival just for little ones.

Definitely not my favorite music festival and i've been to a lot, but as a long time volunteer I still enjoy this fest even though they no longer treat volunteers as well as they did 8 years ago....
