BearCom is one of the largest independent distributors of wireless communication products in the United States. Headquartered in Dallas, the company has more than 36 offices in the United States, Australia, Czech Republic, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama and Venezuela. In business for more than 20 years, it offers short-term and long-term rental and repair services and is well-stocked with products from some of the leading manufacturers, including Nextel, Motorola, Icom, Maxon, Nextel, Sony, Ultrak, Tekk, Otto and David Clark. The company, through its partnership with Cellhire, rents and sells phones for international travelers. BearCom was formed with the merger of Bear Communications of California and Page-Com of Texas in 1995.
