History

Arbor Gate Home Care was started by John and Sherri Lund, long-time residents of the north Houston area. They provide non-medical care to adults where they live - in a home, apartment or living facility. Their clients range from young adults to senior citizens, with issues that include pregnancy bedrest, injury or surgery recovery, dementia and numerous health conditions. For the past decade, Sherri has been in the health field and realized the tremendous stress load that a family caregiver can experience when trying to take care of a loved one. Knowing that long term stress can lead to health issues, Sherri and John launched Arbor Gate to make a difference. Arbor Gate's intent is to go beyond just custodial care and move into personalized and interactive care. They are licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Caregivers are carefully screened beyond state requirements. Arbor Gate Home Care brings encouragement to your door!
