Established in 1985, Covenant Christian School enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school has a more than 16-acre campus. Its academic program includes English, history, math, science, computer, music, fine arts, drama, physical education and the discovery program. The school s course of study focuses on a traditional approach and biblical principles are a key part of the curriculum. It also offers various extracurricular activities, including a student council, scholars bowl team, National Honor Society, beta and key clubs, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, boy s basketball and baseball, girl s basketball, volleyball and softball, and boy s and girl s soccer, tennis, track and cheerleading. Extended care facilities are also available at the school. Its parent-teacher fellowship is supportive of the school's academic and extracurricular programs, and allows parents to take an active role at the school. Covenant Christian School is located in Tuscumbia, Ala.
