Universal Press Sales / Universal Press Repair, Inc has been in business at its present location since 1979. We are located in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park in Maryville Tennessee. Paul Eakens, President of Universal Press, has been involved in the commercial web printing industry for over 38 years working both for ATF-Davidson Company and Schriber, and then for himself as a serviceman and installer. In 1985 we became a distributor for the ATF-Davidson Company's web press parts and in 1989 purchased their web press parts division and became the owner. All along Universal Press Sales / Universal Press Repair, Inc purchased and resold used printing equipment but in 1992 Universal Press had definitely grown and Universal Press Sales, Inc was formed to handle just the buying and selling of the used web presses and their Auxiliary. Now at approximately 80 thousand square feet of space, the owning, storing, buying and selling of those used web presses and a lot of their separate auxiliary is our main business. Universal Press specializes in the buying, repairing, and selling of used printing equipment, used web presses, printing presses, and used web printing equipment including the Harris printing press, like the Harris M1000, Harris M110, and Harris M200 ; the Hantscho printing press, like the Hantscho Mark II, Hantscho Mark IV, Hantscho Hantscho Mark VI, and Hantscho Mark 16 ; the Goss Printing press, the Baker Perkins press, the Heidelberg Printing press, as well as presses from Mitsubishi, Nebiolo, Toshiba, King, and Man Octoman. In addition to web presses, Universal Press buys, repairs, and sells splicers from Butler, Martin, Enkle, and MEG Dryer, as well as infeeds, stackers, trimmers, dryers, chills, guides, sheeters, folders, and cutoffs from various companies such as Tec, Butler, Martin, Stobb, Gammerler, MEGTEC, ATF, AEC, Baldwin, Blava, Datm, WPC, Oxy-dry, Quad Tech, Rima, Royal Zenith, Ryco, Vits, Harris, and Hantscho.

Decanter Machine offers a range of centrifuge technology. The company provides custom-designed and manufactured units, a rebuild and exchange program for most major brands of Decanter centrifuges and field service in all phases from start-up to production problems. Its service includes up-grade with new technology. The company s customers come from different markets and industries, including coal, rendering, water treatment, food processing and pharmaceutical. It has earned ISO 9001:2000 series registration from Underwriters Laboratories. Through research and development, Decanter has managed to create a longwearing horizontal centrifuge by experimenting with various grades of materials, such as ceramics and tungsten carbides, in its fabrications. Decanter Machine is headquartered in Johnson City, Tenn., and has locations in Roebuck, S.C., and New South Wales, Australia.
