Monterey s BioTechnical Group includes the Amycel and Spawn Mate companies that produce and sell mushroom spawn and nutritional growing supplements and activators to mushroom growers throughout the world. Established in 1971 as a single-farm operation, Monterey has grown into an international, multi-facility company. Monterey Mushrooms is headquartered in Watsonville, Calif., with a location in Loudon, Tenn.
