Kingsport Fire Prevention

Located in Kingsport, Tenn., the Kingsport Fire Department offers fire prevention, emergency medical response, and hazmat and technical rescue services. It serves more than 44,000 local residential and commercial clients, as well as works to fire protect the lives and properties of the citizens and visitors of the city of Kingsport. The department provides public education, fire suppression, advance life support services. It operates several fire stations and maintains a range of fire handling equipment, such as engines, pumpers, water tankers, ladders, patrol van and tactical rescue devices. The Kingsport Fire Department offers disasters mitigation and fire protection services and employs more than 95 uniformed firefighters and support staff members.
