First Lutheran Church and School

First Lutheran School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and enrichment programs for students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school provides instruction in art, music, math, history, science, English and computer studies. It offers several extracurricular opportunities, such as band and chorus. First Lutheran School also conducts classes in foreign language, social studies and physical education. The school organizes various athletic activities, such as volleyball, basketball, soccer and cheerleading. It conducts a summer day camp, as well as has a library that stocks a collection of books. First Lutheran School supports an accelerated reader program. The school maintains a parent-teacher league. It offers several before- and after-school care programs. The school is governed by The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
