Behind the Barn

HistoryThe building occupied by The Everly has a rich East Tennessee history. Dating back to the early 1900s, it was Rose's Department Store and Tommy Covington Music in the 1950s. Most famously, a young Dolly Parton was featured on Covington's weekly radio show, the Hayloft Jamboree. Ironstone Properties acquired the building in 2012, with restorations beginning soon thereafter. This downtown building in the heart of Maryville, TN is now home to The Everly, which is being used as a public event venue.SpecialtiesWe are located in a restored historic downtown three-level building with beautifully refinished hardwood floors, high bead board ceilings, and exposed brick. Ample seating and gathering space is provided for up to 149 people with room for catering, bar service, and musical performances. We also have a bridal suite that is perfect for day-of preparations!
