The dream of a stylist of owning her own salon came to light when Salon 1550 was founded by Angie and Mike in 2008. After almost three years, the name Salon 1550 was not who Angie wanted to be known as. Angie decided she wanted a name that described how she felt about the industry and describe the stylist she wanted working at her salon. After searching and searching for the right name, the word Ardent finally presented itself to her husband. He told her with the word Ardent meaning Passionate, it truly describes how she feels about her craft. Ardent Salon was officially born in October of 2011.
