Soybean Science Kit The Soybean Science Kit provides a hands-on soy experience for students. The kit serves as a complete science lab, containing everything necessary (with the exception of a very few readily available household materials) for 30 students to participate in 21 hands-on experiments and exercises, including two new biotech lessons, an interactive CD and instructional videotape. It's designed to assist teachers in meeting the National Science Education Standards, particularly with 4th to 9th grade interdisciplinary curriculum. Over 95% of the elementary schools in South Dakota have received the kit. The South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council provides funding for the Soybean Science Kit as an investment in sparking excitement for science among students.
