Joel Kirst, CNP

Dr. Troy Nesbit, MD, has been a board-certified anesthesiologist. Dr. Nesbit completed his Anesthesiology residency at Case Western University in Cleveland, OH, in 2006. He has served as past Chief of Staff at Monument Health and is the current Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Monument Health, as well as Active Staff at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.

Kelsey Johnson is a Rapid City native who graduated from Stevens High School. She received a scholarship to play soccer at the University of Central Arkansas where she completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. While pursuing her Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APN) degree, she worked in an inpatient rehabilitation facility and was a clinical instructor for the undergraduate nursing program at the University of Central Arkansas. Kelsey has a passion for helping people and getting to know her patients on a personal level. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and hearing their stories. She is happily married with two sons. Kelsey and her family love exploring the Black Hills and all things outdoors, including hiking, biking, snow-skiing, fishing and camping at the lake. Kelsey is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
