Georgia Morse Middle School

Georgia Morse Middle School, located in Pierre, S.D., is a high school preparatory coeducational public school. Founded in 1972, it offers classes from grades six through eight and enrolls more than 700 students. The school provides a strong academic program, including increased time in language arts and math, and provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, computer science, social studies and science. There are five computer labs accessible to students for assignments, enrichment and research. Specialized personnel direct guidance and counseling. Student groups, include the yearbook staff, taking action against tobacco use, youth to youth, student council and circle of friends.
