Camelot Intermediate School

Founded in 1968, Central Elementary School is a learning center that provides academic programs to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, English, social studies, physical education, music and art. The school provides Title 1 and reading recovery programs for gifted and talented students. It maintains a library that provides curriculum-related materials and a variety of leisure reading options for students. The school offers speech, language, physical and occupational therapy services for students with special needs. It additionally provides lunch for its students. The school is a part of the Brookings School District, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools. Central Elementary School is located in Brookings, S.D.
