Showcasing an assortment of over 50 American muscle, classic, and vintage cars and trucks, Wheels of Yesteryear in Myrtle Beach offers gearheads and car enthusiasts an inside look at the collection owned and restored by Paul Cummings.

Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, Mercury and Mopar are just some of the brands you'll find on display at this museum open to the public year round.

Best and worst and time to go to Wheels of Yesteryear
They're open Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but offer extended hours during the summer. If you plan on going in late January or early February, contact the museum first. They close down for two weeks every year to rotate the car inventory.

Must see/do at Wheels of Yesteryear
While perusing the avenues of cars, don't miss all the memorabilia, posters and collectibles showcased on the walls.

Admission to Wheels of Yesteryear
Adults and ages 16 and older are $9 each, children ages 9-15 are $6 each, and children ages 8 and under are free. Groups of more than 15 people are $7 each.

Parking and public transportation to Wheels of Yesteryear
While you can see Wheels of Yesteryear from U.S. 501 when traveling by car, you have to navigate from U.S. 501 to Waccamaw Pines Drive, and then turn onto Hospitality Lane to visit the museum. They offer a free, on-site parking lot.

Insider tip for visitors to Wheels of Yesteryear
Before leaving, car enthusiasts should peruse their gift shop which is filled with nostalgic signs, t-shirts and unique die-cast collectibles.

Very nice location with one hundred cars beautiful vintage autos, on the negative side only one bathroom but clean ,museum is very well kept and the lady at the counter was friendly and helpful

Pretty cool place to check out if you are in the area. In total I went with 4 adults, and spent $88 to walk the museum. No discount for senior citizens. Take your time walking and really check out...
