Favorite eatery for many of our locals. Very fast service and friendly staff. You don't have to wait long for your food and it is cooked to order. If you're in a hurry, this is a great place to try.

The first Waffle House restaurant was opened on Labor Day in 1955 in Avondale Estates, Ga. Since then, it has grown into a chain of more than 1,500 company and franchise-owned casual restaurants in over 25 U.S. states. It serves a variety of waffles, steaks, omelets, hamburgers, country ham, pork chops and grits. The restaurant serves specialty dishes, such as Bert's chili, Walt s soup, Alice s iced tea and Lib's patty melt. It offers hash browns in eight different ways. Waffle House serves more than 3 million pounds of grits each year and over 10,000 T-bone steaks each day. Apart from serving food, the restaurant supports various health and human service organizations, youth and education programs, and disadvantage and other civic causes. It conducts in-house events and programs, such as The Great Miller Lite Chili Cook-off and the Waffle House World Waffle Eating Championship.

It was a Sunday after a big Clemson game, most other breakfast places had a long wait but not Waffle House. The simple menu and the quick turnaround allows them to cycle people through quickly....

I realized after leaving Waffle House that I had lost a bracelet at this restaurant on 10/31/2025. Went back to ask if it had been found & a server said yes, she knew what we were talking about...

This location used to be awesome. New management seems to have turned over a large portion of the staff, and the atmosphere has totally changed.

Food has been consistent on many visits. Served hot and quickly. Almost always cooked as requested. Customer service here is horrendous. Once they take your original order I have been...
