South Carolina Medical Association

The South Carolina Medical Association is a representative organization of all the physicians in the state. Based in Columbia, S.C., the organization offers physician services through its subsidiaries, including SC Physician Assurance Company, Practice Management Services, Financial Services and Members' Insurance Trust. The Financial Services subsidiary is dedicated to serving the insurance needs of physicians and their practices across the state. Its Members' Insurance Trust is a health insurance plan for South Carolina Medical Association members, their families and staff. The South Carolina Medical Association also provides publications, such as SCMA Medweek, Health Care Forum, HealthWatch and the SCMA Annual Report.
