Robert Emery Delphia, Jr., MD

Meghan L. Businaro, DO, is a cardiologist with Prisma Health Cardiology and a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree at Eastern Illinois University, and her DO at Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her internship and residency in internal medicine were conducted at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where she also completed her fellowship in cardiology. Dr. Businaro is board certified in cardiology, echocardiology and nuclear medicine. She is the medical director for Prisma Health’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. Her interests are preventative cardiology, women’s heart disease and heart failure.

Kurt Barringhaus, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with Prisma Health Cardiology and a clinical associate professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Saint Louis University and completed his internship and residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Barringhaus completed cardiovascular and interventional cardiology fellowships at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is a published expert in high-risk conditions including myocardial infarction, complex coronary intervention and management of coronary heart disease.

Rodney V. Harrison, MD, FACC, ABSM, is a cardiologist with Prisma Health Cardiology and a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Harrison earned his medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia and served his internship and residency in internal medicine at Palmetto Health Richland, where he was chief resident. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at Palmetto Health Richland, earned the CIBA-Geigy Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1994 and was named Cardiovascular Fellow of the Year in both 1996 and 1997. Dr. Harrison is board certified in cardiovascular disease and sleep medicine, and currently serves as the medical director for the Prisma Health Baptist Catheterization Laboratory.
