Dr. John Thomas Smith is a board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist with over 20 years’ experience. He is a native of Texas and attended Texas Tech University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science. He received his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine in Lubbock Texas. He then completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi Mississippi. He specializes in a full range of obstetrics, including low- risk and high-risk pregnancies, laparoscopic and outpatient surgical procedures, office procedures, fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, menopause, birth control, sterilization and abnormal pap smears. He treats all aspects of sexual health, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and infertility, and he offers preventive services, including annual examinations, cervical screenings and breast examinations.
