Paul Herbert Bornemann, MD

Kari-Claudia Allen, MD, is a family medicine physician at Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina. She earned her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and completed a residency at WellSpan York Hospital. Dr. Allen is board certified in family medicine and currently sees patients of all ages.

Jeffrey W. Hall, MD, has served as an assistant professor with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine since 2008. He directs the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine's maternity care curriculum and supervises several of the school’s global health projects, including the M-4 student international electives, the travel health clinic, and the Global Health Fellowship Program. Dr. Hall holds a certificate of knowledge in clinical tropical medicine from the American Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and also a certificate in travel health from the International Society of Travel Medicine. He has spent time living and working in Latin America, Asia, Africa, Europe and the United States and can order lunch in four languages, but is never sure exactly what ends up on his plate. Hall received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City in 2003.

Brian Keisler, MD, joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2005 after completing a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. A graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, he received his bachelor's degree in biology and his doctor of medicine from the School of Medicine. He completed a residency with Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency at Northeast Medical Center in Concord, North Carolina, serving as chief resident during his final year prior to his fellowship training. Dr. Keisler is board certified in family medicine and has a special interest in medical student education, hypertension, diabetes and sports medicine. He has won several teaching awards and currently serves as the director of the third-year medical student family medicine clerkship. Keisler has served on various committees for both the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
