Melissa Livingston, MSN, FNP-C

Dr. Kevin Becker is a medical oncologist who cares for patients with genitourinary cancers, including prostate, kidney and bladder. Dr. Becker received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2004. He completed an Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology and Oncology fellowship at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. In 2020, he received a Master of Medical Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University. He completed the Northwell Health Physician Leadership Development Program in 2021. Dr. Becker's research aims to expand and improve treatment options through cancer treatment clinical trials. Before joining MUSC, Dr. Becker was the Medical Director of the Maimonides Cancer Center in Brooklyn, New York, and Chief of the Regional Division of Hematology and Oncology for Maimonides and Downstate Health Sciences University. Dr. Becker is the Oncology Infusion and Ambulatory Services Director at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center.

William G. Hawkins, M.D. is a surgical oncologist with 20 years of experience treating patients with some of the most challenging abdominal cancers. His clinical practice focuses on surgery for abdominal cancers, including pancreas cancer, liver cancer, gallbladder cancer, and sarcoma. Dr. Hawkins also cares for patients with complex benign abdominal cases, such as those in need of surgical intervention for bile duct injuries. With a longstanding commitment to leadership, patient care, education and research, Dr. Hawkins has spent 20 years at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and its Siteman Cancer Center, where he obtained and directed a prestigious Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) grant to conduct multiple projects investigating pancreatic cancer. While there, he served as the chief of Hepatobiliary Pancreatic and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery. In his administrative leadership role, Dr. Hawkins is the deputy director of the Hollings Cancer Center, where he focuses on strengthening translational research, increasing clinical trials across South Carolina, and assisting Jason Newman, M.D., FACS, chief of the Oncology Integrated Center of Clinical Excellence, with making clinical operations more efficient. He also serves as the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the MUSC Department of Surgery. Dr. Hawkins completed fellowships in surgical oncology and research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New York; served as chief during his surgical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts; and received both his medical and bachelor's degrees at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Dr. Stephanie Myers is a radiation oncologist with a focus on gastrointestinal, pediatric, and hematologic malignancies. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. Following medical school, she completed her internship at Atrium Health Navicent before going on to complete her residency in radiation oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. During her training, Dr. Myers gained experience in a variety of radiation techniques, including stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and hypofractionated radiotherapy, as well as other special procedures. Following completion of her residency, she joined the faculty at MUSC in 2025. Dr. Myers is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each patient. She is especially passionate about patient education and takes pride in helping individuals understand their diagnosis and treatment options. Her compassionate, collaborative approach ensures that patients and their families feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.
