Lauren Lynne Costello, AUD - MUSC Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

Lauren L. Costello, AuD, CCC-A is a board-certified Clinical Instructor of Audiology within the MUSC Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Costello received her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from The University of Akron and went on to complete her Doctor of Audiology degree at Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium. She completed her clinical residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in 2020. She specializes in adult diagnosis of hearing loss, audiologic rehabilitation (consultation, fitting, and orientation of hearing aids and assistive listening devices), osseointegrated implantable device evaluations and fittings, hearing conservation and custom hearing devices. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and a member of American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
