John's Island Regional Library

Charleston County Public Library is a memorial library for World War II veterans, and has more than 15 branch locations throughout Charleston, S.C., and a traveling bookmobile. It offers books by mail service, and a variety of information on local, state, national and international businesses, and economics, management, small business, and investment guides. It also offers various programs for children, including storytimes, reading programs, and homework help. Computers are available for public use at each library branch location and bookmobile. The library also provides visitors with free public access to grant maker directories, books on fund raising and nonprofit management, and an electronic database. It also offers various media services, such as videos, digital videodiscs, music CDs, books on tapes and CDs, and an art collection. The library also provides interlibrary loans services to enable patrons to use items that are not owned by the library.
