John John Walsh IV, MD - Prisma Health Orthopedic Surgery Center

James L. McFadden, MD, received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa. Dr. McFadden's specialties and clinical interests include hand, wrist and elbow surgery; upper extremity trauma; fracture care; nerve surgery; and shoulder surgery, including treatments for arthritis, rotator cuff tears, shoulder replacement and arthroscopic surgery. He is originally from Columbia and is excited to be back practicing in his hometown with Prisma Health Orthopedics.

David B. Fulton, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his internship and residency at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis and completed a fellowship in hand surgery and shoulder surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center/Cincinnati Hand Surgery Specialists in Cincinnati. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a certificate of added qualifications for hand surgery and is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. His specialties and clinical interests include hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder surgery, fracture care, shoulder arthroscopy, impingement surgery, total shoulder replacement surgery, reverse shoulder replacements, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve compression surgery, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, tendon reconstructive surgery and arthritis reconstructive surgery.

James Viapiano, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. He completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in anesthesiology at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, also in Burlington. Dr. Viapiano is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the South Carolina Medical Society and the South Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists. His specialties and clinical interests include treatment of neck and lower back pain, diagnostic and therapeutic spine injections, radiofrequency ablation, lumbar sympathetic nerve blocks and peripheral nerve and joint injections.
