Enjoyed the apps. Expensive, food was good and the service was excellent. At Freshfields there are not many options . Will go back

FortyEight - Wine Bar & Kitchen features 48 exceptional wines by the glass everyday, 840 hand selected wines by the bottle, 48 local and regional craft beers, and delicious light fare. The highlight of FortyEight is the ability to taste our 48 featured wines everyday. Using our automated wine servers, you are able to get a taste (1 oz.), a half glass (2.5 oz.), or a full glass (5 oz.) of any of our 48 exceptional wines, just by inserting your FortyEight smartcard. And if you are shopping for wine to take home, you can taste any of our 48 featured wines before you buy them! In addition, there are 840 wines available by the bottle, hand selected by our wine team; and 48 local and regional craft beers, also hand selected seasonally. Our kitchen is open 11:30 to 9:00 pm daily. Our menu features: local, regional, and international cheeses; savory charcuterie platters; seasonal salads and paninis; local artisan chocolates; delightful and tempting sweets; and more.

Disappointing. The service was meh. The grouper had no taste and came with a dusting of veggies. We will never go back.

Overall, our experience here was nice. The staff were all very pleasant and the inside is very clean and inviting. I really liked their Bellini with peach cocktail, and their food was prepared...

We had a great lunch hanging out at the bar at 48. Interesting concept...they give you a card and you can select your own wines in 1, 3 or 6 ounce pours. As they are priced per ounce, you can try...
