Evangeline Joy Brown, MD

Gregory Grabowski, MD, graduated from the University of Richmond in 2000 and spent the following year in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps assigned to an HIV clinic in Baltimore. He attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he was elected to the AOA honors medical society. He completed his residency at the University of Vermont, where he was named the top orthopedic teaching resident, and subsequently completed a fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Grabowski joined the University of South Carolina School of Medicine faculty in 2011 and is a clinical associate professor of orthopedic surgery. His additional current roles include Spine Consultant for the University of South Carolina Athletic Department, Orthopedic Residency Program Director, and Medical Director of Spine Surgery. Dr. Grabowski's primary interests include care for patients with pathology in all areas of the spine, including cervical and lumbar, particularly spinal stenosis and deformity. He believes in a balanced approach to spine care, including non-operative management when possible and surgical intervention when necessary. He is a Past President of the South Carolina Orthopaedic Association, Board Member of the Southern Orthopaedic Association, and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society. He teaches nationally and internationally with AOSpine and serves as a member of their Education Committee. Lastly, he is a member of the prestigious American Orthopaedic Association, and serves on their Leadership and Fellowship Committee.

Kevin Andrew Murr, MD, is a graduate of Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina, and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Kentucky Hospitals and Clinics in Lexington, and completed an orthopedic trauma fellowship at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Murr also currently serves as a clinical associate professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.

John J. Walsh IV, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Prisma Health and Clinical Professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. Dr. Walsh previously served as clinic director and staff orthopedic surgeon at Moncrief Army Community Hospital at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina. He received his bachelor's degree with a major in biology from the University of Delaware in Newark and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency and a transitional internship at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia, and completed his fellowship in hand surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Walsh is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and has a certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand. He has lectured internationally on a broad range of general orthopedic and upper extremity surgical conditions. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Christian Medical Society. His primary interests are hand and upper extremity surgery, sports injuries of the hand, complex multitrauma of the upper limb, and reconstructive osteotomies for bone deformity. He is also interested in reconstruction for brachial plexus injuries.
