Donna L. Atkinson, DNP, APRN

Dr. Gloriana Madrigal Loria, MD, earned her medical degree from the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas (UCIMED) in San José, Costa Rica, in 2015. Following graduation, she practiced clinical endocrinology in Costa Rica, where she provided care for patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, and a wide range of hormonal disorders. She subsequently completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York (2020–2023) and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio (2023–2025). Dr. Madrigal-Loria specializes in general endocrinology and is trained to diagnose and treat a broad range of hormonal disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis and bone metabolism disorders, pituitary and adrenal disorders, among other endocrine conditions. She is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE). Dr. Madrigal-Loria is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is pursuing board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

Dr. Hudnall Paschal is a native of Columbia, SC. He attended the University of South Carolina and continued his studies at The University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Paschal went on to complete his internship at Spartanburg General Hospital in Spartanburg, SC. He then came to Florence, SC where he completed his residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Dr. Paschal decided Florence would be a good fit for him and has been practicing Family Medicine here since 1991. He provides services to include routine checkups, acute sick visits, health-risk assessments, screening tests, minor injuries and management of chronic illnesses. Dr. Paschal is married and they have one daughter.

Michelle Johnson is a family nurse practitioner with a passion for treating adult patients with diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Francis Marion University and obtained her Master of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Michelle’s clinical interests include emergency care and ICU. She has a passion for helping her patients with weight loss by informing and utilizing all the new healthcare tools that are available. She is committed to getting to know each of her patients and collaboratively developing a medical plan that will fit their needs. She is proud to serve both Florence and Mullins communities!
