Rice Home, a ministry of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, is a continuing care retirement community. Its independent living apartments feature private dining rooms, card rooms and a library. The center s private suite includes a living room, bedroom, large closet and a private bath facility. Its professionally trained caregivers provide services to residents with Alzheimer's disease and other memory-related impairments. Additionally, Rice Home offers 24-hour nursing care and in-house therapy and rehabilitation services. Its short-term stay program benefits caregivers who need a temporary break or want to take a vacation and individuals who need to recuperate after illness or hospitalization.
