Miranda Flowers, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina. An Alabama native, she first came to Greenville as a student at Furman University, completing her bachelor's degree in health science in 2014. While at Furman, she was drawn to midwifery first through the documentary The Business of Being Born and then through Ina May Gaskin’s Spiritual Midwifery. After graduating from Furman, she went on to Columbia to receive her bachelor's degree in nursing and master's degree in nurse midwifery. Flowers received training both in a busy hospital setting as well as a rural home-birth practice. She is thrilled to be in a practice that offers patients true midwifery care with shared decision-making and a range of birthing options. She believes that pregnancy and birth are a normal life event, and our role as midwives is to educate and empower women about their bodies and to respect their choices. In addition to pregnancy and birth, she is also passionate about providing well-women care, from contraception and sexual health counseling to menopausal care.

Francisco Rojo, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner with special interests in health fitness, psychiatry, weight loss, geriatrics, holistic medicine and diabetes management. He attended University of South Carolina for his undergraduate nursing degree and Clemson University for his master’s degree. He is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He endeavors to build a partnership with his patients to achieve higher levels of engagement and participation in their treatment. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, swimming, mountain biking and shooting sports as well as serving in his local church.
