Black Rooster is a French-American bistro from one of Columbia's top chef/restaurateurs, Kristian Niemi. With a bright, mid-century modern dining room and expansive rooftop bar overlooking the rivers and Columbia cityscape, its a casual restaurant with French-inspired dishes ranging from Mussels in a Garlicky Broth to Steak Frites. The bar program features the same level of cocktails you'd expect from the owners of Bourbon, as well as an all-French wine list and eight local beers on tap. Reservations are recommended, but not required.

Came here on a recommendation and it was really good. The roof top bar area is awesome but we ate in the main restaurant. Cheese board to start rocked and the main courses were all pretty amazing
