Belfair is a private golf club community situated in South Carolina. The club has two nationally recognized golf courses. West Course has a parklands design with Bermuda grass greens while the East Course has a links design with bent grass greens. The Players Amateur at Belfair, one of the top five amateur tournaments in the United States, is played annually on the West Course. Jim Ferree Golf Learning Center is a 29-acre teaching facility with covered and outdoor driving ranges. There are three large putting greens and two short course holes to practice short irons, sand shots and chip shots. The indoor driving suite is equipped with video swing analysis technology. An equipped activity/fitness center offers indoor and outdoor pools and a selection of fitness equipment, programs and classes. The center also features Har-Tru tennis courts, outdoor soccer/lacrosse field, basketball court, playground area and pathways for walking, running and biking.
