Jewish Community Center of Rhode Island, founded in 1971, promotes Jewish identity, family life and community. The organization also promotes communication between the local Jewish community and Israel. It facilitates interaction between Jewish individuals and groups, and welcomes the general community to join and participate in its activities. Jewish Community Center of Rhode Island also supports various social, cultural, educational, recreational and health needs of the Jewish community. The organization also provides a variety of fitness programs, including training, aerobics, mind and body, leagues, and massage programs.
