York Paid Firefighters

On behalf of our members, welcome to the home page of the York Professional Fire Fighters Association, Local No. 627 of the International Association of Fire Fighters. The York Professional Fire Fighters Association represents the career firefighters and fire officers of the Department of Fire/Rescue Services protecting the citizens of the City of York, Pennsylvania. These firefighters and officers operate out of four fire stations, manning four engines, one aerial ladder truck and one command unit, as well as staff a Fire Prevention Bureau in the fire headquarters building. York is located in south-central Pennsylvania, a five square mile city with a population of approximately 45, 000 residents. The members of the York Professional Fire Fighters Association proudly serve the citizens of and visitors to York, Pennsylvania 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with pride, integrity and courage.
