Susan A. Mellinger, MD

I practice full spectrum family physician at the Walter Aument Family Health Center, a rural southern Lancaster county office in Quarryville. Currently, I serve as Associate Director of the Lancaster General Hospital Family Medicine Residency program, where I have been since 2016. I have been involved in graduate medical education since 1999, serving previously as a Program Director at Mclaren Family Medicine Residency in Flint, MI. My particular areas of interest include dermatology (multiple national peer-reviewed publications), as well as POCUS (point of care ultrasound). I served on active duty in the USAF from 1995-1999.

Our family medicine practices provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages - from newborns to older adults. We emphasize wellness and prevention, help patients manage chronic conditions, and provide timely care in times of illness or injury. As part of Penn Medicine, we also bring you direct access to the most advanced treatment options. Ambulatory Collaborative Care Team Our practice also offers additional support to help patients establish goals and manage their health, connect to community resources and financial counselors, and assist with referrals to other services to improve their quality of care.
