Located in Cherry Hill, N.J., Steininger Behavioral Care Services is a private, nonprofit organization that provides a variety of rehabilitative and mental health services. Founded in 1958, it offers various services to adults and children suffering form severe mental illnesses and emotional disturbances. The organization offers a wide variety of services, such as crisis stabilization, community outreach and support. Its crisis stabilization services include a short-term psychiatric residence for adults, screening, evaluation and short-term medication monitoring. The organization offers various support services to individuals and families, such as case management, planning and distribution of financial aid, mental health education and respite care. Additionally, it organizes and participates in a variety of events, including seminars, awareness programs and fundraising events.
