History

Your local Pittsburgh Historical European Martial Arts club is run by Chris and Ashleigh Hobbs. The club began with over half a dozen students practicing in Highland Park, growing into a roster of around 40 students (and climbing!). All who are interested in learning how to fence with a sword are welcome. Longsword, Sword & Buckler, Saber, Rapier, and more!

Specialties

We are a non-profit dedicated to the study and practice of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). Our main focus is on German Longsword, but we also offer classes on Dussack and Sword & Buckler. Many of our students practice rapier. We will be incorporating dagger work into our longsword classes in the future as well.
