Saint Joseph Villa

Saint Joseph Villa, located in Flourtown, Pa., and sponsored by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, provides care to the elderly, including the Sisters, clergy and members of the laity. Established in 1981, its seven-floor facility provides skilled and intermediate care, community hospice programs for the terminally ill, and respite care. Its physicians and registered nurses are available 24-hours a day and it arranges for consultation and treatment with a psychiatrist, psychologist, dentist, podiatrist, ophthalmologist or audiologist. Its pastoral services include daily celebration of Mass, prayers offered on a daily basis, sacraments of the sick and reconciliation available regularly, closed-circuit television for residents to view all services, and a team of sisters to visit, counsel and support families and residents. Its rehabilitation services department is staffed with professionals in physical and occupational therapies, and speech pathology.
