Alexander V Kirichenko, MD, PhDDr. Kirichenko is the clinical director of both the Gastrointestinal and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) programs at the AHN Cancer Institute. Hes been a practicing radiation oncologist for more than 30 years, and hes internationally recognized as one of the developers of liver SBRT in patients with hepatic cirrhosis. His clinical research includes high-precision, respiratory gated SBRT, as well as intensity-modulated, image-guided radiation therapy (IG-IMRT) to maximize organ preservation during radiotherapy of various GI malignancies. Dr. Kirichenko authored more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is an invited speaker to multiple national and international research conferences.

Prior to his surgical training, Dr. Allen received his college degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and attended medical school in his hometown at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada.Dr. Allen is a passionate leader of patient-centered care, specializing in evidence-based treatment pathways and preoperative optimization for surgical patients. As the Lead Quality Officer at AHN Cancer Institute, he ensures high care standards to optimize patient outcomes. His leadership drives transformative changes in cancer care delivery, integrating cutting-edge treatments for all patients. With his focus on value-based health care delivery, Dr. Allen has published over 80 research papers. He has been the lead author for numerous book chapters and has been invited to speak at national meetings.Dr. Allen is dual certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General Surgery and Complex General Surgical Oncology.
