Pittsburgh Public Theater is a contemporary theater. Featuring a three-quarter thrust stage, the theatre produces a series of diverse theatrical productions encompassing classics of the American theater, masterworks from the international repertoire, world premieres, contemporary plays and musicals of exceptional merit. Pittsburgh Public Theater is a member of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT), a national association of non-profit professional theaters and a constituent of Theatre Communications Group (TCG), a national service organization for the nonprofit professional theater.
