Comcast-Spectacor is a Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm. Its parent company is Comcast, a provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services principally broadband cable networks and in the delivery of programming content. Comcast-Spectator is the principal owner of Global Spectrum, which manages and operates public assembly facilities throughout the United States and Canada. It also operates several subsidiaries in related fields, Ovations Food Services, which provides food and beverage services to three of Comcast-Spectacor s minor league baseball teams and to other arenas, stadiums, amphitheatres, fairgrounds and convention centers; Front Row Marketing Services, a firm which creates, identifies and sells new revenue streams at facilities; and New Era Tickets which provides customized ticketing, database marketing and access management to clients, enabling them to sell and manage their own tickets eliminating the need for third-party distributors. Comcast-Spectacor also operates Flyers Skate Zone, community skating facilities designed to promote ice-skating and youth hockey
