Mighty Writers is a nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia, PA, dedicated to teaching over 4,500 children annually to think clearly and write with clarity, enabling them to achieve success. Founded in 2009, the organization operates various writing workshops across Greater Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Texas, offering all programs free of charge to the children and families they serve.

In response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, Mighty Writers expanded its mission in 2020 to include the distribution of groceries, diapers, and essential resources to families in their communities. Their robust distribution program now spans 11 sites and serves 70,000 families each year, emphasizing their commitment to supporting academic growth and basic needs simultaneously.
