Established in 1999, Mifflin County Communities That Care is a community wide prevention program that focuses on the identification of at-risk individuals and planning prevention programs. It concentrates on the prevention of juvenile delinquency, teenage pregnancy, school dropout and substance abuse. The program also includes measures for the preclusion of truancy, child violence, and undesirable actions and attitudes.
