Michael D Franzen, PhD

Dr. Hinzman provides care and treatment for people suffering from a variety of psychiatric disorders. Her specialty areas include affective disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, binge eating disorders, and trauma-related disorders. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including medication management, inclusion of dialectical behavior skills, and cognitive behavioral approaches as well as lifestyle and nutritional considerations to help her patients regain their psychological health. Dr. Hinzman provides patient care from a patient-centered, empathetic, whole-person approach. After earning her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida, Dr. Hinzman completed her psychiatric residency at Allegheny General Hospital. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Osteopathic Association, American Board of Obesity Medicine and Obesity.

Dr. Barriga specializes in psychology, treating patients with trauma- and stressor-related disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders, and disruptive and conduct disorders. He has a special clinical interest in psychological reactions to stress and trauma. He is experienced in providing trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. While studying at the graduate school of Ohio State University, Dr. Barriga was awarded the University Minority Fellowship and the Graduate Student Alumni Research Award. He speaks English and Spanish.

Victoria-Maria Sekunda, PsyD Dr. Sekunda is a Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist who provides both C&L evaluations at AGH and outpatient neuropsychological evaluations. She conducts neuropsychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments, primarily with older adults on an outpatient basis. Her clinical interests include memory disorders, complex medical and psychiatric diagnoses, movement disorders, strokes, and head injuries. She also has a research background working with individuals with HIV Associated Neurocognitive Disorder.
