HistoryI was an RN for 30 years and felt there was another way to handle illness and pain. I am also own and show horses and have always had Acupuncture done with great results. When I had a hip injury and had Acupuncture that is when I learned I could become an Acupuncturist by going through a 3 year Graduate program. I started Tai Sophia in Columbia MD in Jan 2008 and graduated in April 2011 with a Masters in Acupuncture. I worked briefly as an Acupuncturist in Maryland. Once I passed the National Boards I started my own practice in Shrewsbury PA. I have a two treatment room suite at The Factory,and I also work at Heritage Chiropractic Center in East York on Wednesday mornings.SpecialtiesAcupuncture Pain, stress anxiety infertility sinus issues allergies I accept some Insurances and will do Workman Comp. I offer both Private and Group sessions. Private sessions are more individualized, Group sessions are less expensive and designed to decrease stress, cravings ie foods, smoking, and reduce pain.
