HistoryChildren's Music Express was founded by Tammy Keorkunian who has been teaching early childhood music, movement and mindfulness for 18 + years. Initially, Children's Music Express began as a birthday party business second to her primary work, which was teaching parent and child music and movement classes for Little People's Music in Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy and Elkins Park. Ms. Keorkunian taught while attending college, and overtime, realized that her passion was with teaching early childhood music and movement. On a shoestring budget, Tammy decided to rent a space, record her first early childhood music and movement CD and ran her first session.
